The idea for this book started over two years ago,
while I was one of the co-hosts for the Hour of
Prayer on KYCC Radio in Stockton, California. When
preparing for the weekly program, I would use a
theme and then end with a devotional. After using
several resources, I thought, “Why don’t we have
Spirit-filled women compile a daily devotional?” In
the course of my life, I have met and been
influenced by many outstanding women of God. I knew
they would be the perfect contributors, and now you
can benefit from their experiences.
I had been praying for God to open the door so I
could devote the time needed to coordinate this
project. When the radio station’s format changed, I
knew it was the right time in my life to work on it.

contributors of this book offer a wide array of
talent. They are a cross-section of women |

(young and old) from across America and around the world.
Some are established authors, national leaders and
world-wide speakers. Many are
minister’s wives, missionaries, homemakers, and
professionals. You will be blessed by several new authors,
the youngest being ten years old (her devotional will be
featured on November 20, Universal Children’s Day). Yes, you
will laugh, cry, relate to circumstances, and rejoice in
miracles. You will be encouraged, uplifted, strengthened,
and challenged daily by real-life experiences and insights.
In our fast-paced world today, it is not easy to find an
oasis (a special place of renewal) every day. However, just
five minutes daily with the Master, can be your Oasis
moment! That’s all it takes to read one. Maybe it will be
while you are stalled in traffic, sitting in a doctor’s
office, or enjoying your morning cup of tea. Those few,
precious moments can make all the difference in your daily
walk with Him, and it will be just exactly what you need for
the day.
With the help of over eighty contributors, it is now
complete. Each devotional portrays the theme of this book—to
God be the Glory! May you be enriched daily by An Oasis
Moment!
